Learning Director
Rabbi Koval is a beloved 8th grade Rebbe at the Clifton Cheder. His energy and
Ruach is contagious! He brings an atmosphere of shteiging and energy to the
learning at Camp Chevra.

Rabbi Meir Wahrsager
Assistant Head Counselor
Rabbi Wahrsager has worked as a Rebbe and counselor for many years and is
known for his warmth and geshmak which is felt wherever he goes.

Chezky Sondik
Assistant Head Counselor
Chezky is the life of the camp! Incredible energy, incredibly warm! Chezky is beloved by everyone! He has been with Camp Chevra almost since the start, and has been part and parcel of making Camp Chevra the magical place it is!

Meet Our Staff

Learning

Serious learning is emphasized at Camp Chevra. Our staff consists of experienced, professional Rebbeim who motivate the campers to excel and accomplish during the summer months. Many programs and incentives are incorporated to encourage the boys to grow and acquire their learning. There is weekly Thursday night Mishmar
as well.

Leagues & Sports

No camp is complete without a solid and competitive sports and leagues program, and Camp Chevra is no different. We emphasize achdus and middos and we find that every boy, regardless of their talents, loves the sports programs here in
Camp Chevra.

Location

We are located at
185 Montross Avenue in Rutherford. It is a great facility with an indoor field, volleyball court, multiple classrooms, as well as
off-site facilities that the camp uses.

Sports & Leagues

Workshops

is one of Camp Chevra's signature programs. We bring the very best instructors, and give our boys the real deal experience. Workshops include guitar, master chef, Chaverim (mechanics) nature/pioneering and woodworking. This summer we are expanding workshops to include even more exciting and different groups.

Trips

Horseback riding, whitewater rafting, water parks and more! Incredible weekly trips is what we’re known for! And of course the Shabbaton and 3 day road trip are unforgettable experiences that boys will be talking about for many months to come!
